I have always been an Avatar: The Last Airbender fan, but had somehow managed to tuck away the series (like the movie) into the back of my mind.My interest rekindled when I stumbled upon an Avatar Extras marathon on Nicktoons one day when I was bored flipping through channels. I could not manage to tear my eyes from the screen and commentary. The marathon took place in the spirit of the upcoming Legend of Korra premiere. I knew about the premiere but was not as excited as I wished I could have been because I thought it would never come close to the original series. If I could go back in time I would have striven to see it on television for the first time and downloaded the free hour of Korra iTunes offered. I have no clue how I came across The Legend of Korra's page on Nick, but I am glad I did. I watched the show with my then seven year old brother. The animation style, choreography and music had me hooked. Then, when I realized she would be spending time with two brothers close to her age and the ethics behind Amon my mind went racing in all directions. I didn't know Tumblr existed until a couple of months ago, to be honest. I have always been on Facebook and YouTube and did not realize I was missing out.
Interests of mine include fashion, shopping, Korra, reading, dance, sports and geograpghy/history :)
